Memoirs of the Private Life, Return, and Reign of Napoleon in 1815, Vol. I by Pierre Alexandre Édouard Fleury de Chaboulon
The revolution of the 20th of March will form unquestionably the most remarkable episode in the life of Napoleon, so fertile as it is in supernatural events.

"Peace to the spirits of my honoured parents, respected be their remains, and immortalized their virtues! may time, while it moulders their frail relicks to dust, commit to tradition the record of their goodness; and Oh, may their orphan-descendant be influenced through life by the remembrance of their purity, and be solaced in death, that by her it was unsullied!"

I believe it is difficult for those who publish their own memoirs to
escape the imputation of vanity; nor is this the only disadvantage
under which they labour: it is also their misfortune, that what is
uncommon is rarely, if ever, believed, and what is obvious we are apt
to turn from with disgust, and to charge the writer with impertinence.

Typical overgrown boy fiction.
Murder mysteries, fantasy, sci-fi, horror, graphic novels and anything else that excites your typical geek.
I also like regular old standard popular fiction, sports writing (but not so much with the memoirs) and anything to do with art in any of it's many forms. And kid's books (picture books). Good stuff.
Really, I guess I'll read anything except romance. Not a big fan of the romance.

I read literary fiction, mysteries and memoirs, primarily, but I also read a good bit of non-fiction, and I like some political books.

I read a wide variety of books. Mostly I like history, historical novels, young adult fiction and anything about the Holocaust. I also read memoirs, biographies, some popular science, psychology, general adult fiction, and so on.
